The Bookstore

He turned hearing his name and walked towards her, his hands in his pockets,"Did I keep you waiting too long?" He asked, noticing her coffee.

She smiled and shook her head. "Nah, I was just craving a vanilla latte." She replied, sipping it. "Do you have any books in mind?"

He smiled at the comment then shook his head,"Not really, I already have the books I've wanted,"He said,"What about you?"

She sighed "Well..I wished you told me that earlier, since I don't, ethier." She laughed to herself and shook her head. "Well, we could go and eat now." She said, Looking down at her coffee with a distasteful expression "This coffee tastes like crap anyways.." She added.

Leo reached over and ruffled her hair on the top,"You're such a kid." He said with a grin before turning and walking towards the entrance.

She laughed and followed him, fixing her hair back, and pouring the coffee on the ground, then throwing the cup in the trash. She yawned and rubbed her eyes, turning her head away and noticing she whipped away the makeup that was covering the faint bags under her eyes. She stopped and turned around, trrying to hide her eyes in embarassment. "Heh, hold on.." She said, reapplying the makeup quickly.

He turned and noticed the bags under her eyes,"I told you not to stay there all night." He murmured, shaking his head.

Her face flushed red in embarassment and she looked away and shrugged.

Leo arched an eyebrow and put his hand on her shoulder turning her back around,"Don't be so embarrassed, it's alright." He said, smiling.

She smiled, and blushed. "Uh, thanks." she said and kept walking. When she reached the resturant, she stopped at the enterance. "You coming?" She asked teasingly.

He grinned and walked after her, holding the door open,"After you Mi'lady." He said, with a slight bow and a grin.

She rolled her eyes and thumped him on the head, laughing. "Why, thank you kind sir."

His mouth twitched as he tried to hold a straight face, and usher her in,"Anytime."

She smiled and leaned her head on him, feeling more and more comfortable.

Leo blinked and slowly brought his arm around her, pulling her close.

She smiled and let him hug her tightly. "So.." She said, trying to start a conversation. "How's Evanlyn doing?" She asked, looking up at him.

He glanced down at her,"She's doing good, still under some slight shock and constantly saying she'll never get in the same car as Kia."He said laughing.

She laughed "Good thing, too." She added.

"So how are the others?" He asked, leading her to a table in the resturant.

"Well, I think they're doing good." She laughed at herself "Yet, I'm not a doctor."

He sat down in a booth,"Well, that's pretty obvious, seeing as a doctor would know they need sleep and there would be nothing good that could come out of keeping a night long vigil." He said, with a sly grin.

She rolled her eyes and shook her head.

He leaned back, putting his arms behind his head,"What do you want to eat?"He asked.

She opened her menu and strolled through it. "These all would be too much for me..." She said, concern filling her face. "I'll only eat a couple bites most likely." She added.

He closed his eyes briefly then opened one,"We could share something if you like." He suggested.
