A Sticky Situation

"After Denny's you can chill at my house, and after the carnival you can sleep over if you want." Alex said quietly as she was on the phone. "Nothing big."

"Is six 'o clock good?" She asked, fiddling with her jacket string. She nodded at Alex "That'll be good." She said to him.

"Alright, cool," She said,"I'll try to get a hold of some other people."

"Alright, see you there." She said as she hung up the phone. "Evanlyn said we could meet her there at six."

Evanlyn set down her phone, and went into the bathroom to clean up. Glancing at her clock, she wondered what she would be able to do before she had to go to the carnival."Hm, maybe a few shows..." She muttered to herself.

Alex nodded, and stopped in front of Denny's. "Here we are." He said opening the door for her.

"Thanks." She said smiling and heading inside. She tucked her hair behind her ears and took her hood off her head

Evanlyn walked out of the bathroom, after washing up and sprawled on her bed, with her legs crossed over each other. Searching around she found the remote to her T.v and flicked it on, surfing through the channels.

Alex headed inside and went up to the front desk. "Just two." He spoke up and a waitress began leading them to the table. He sat down and rubbed his head. "So how old are you?" He asked Cleo.

She looked at him "I'm sixteen, why?"

Alex shrugged. "I was just asking," He answered with amusement. He put his hands behind his head and leaned back, till he felt someone covering his eyes. He grew nervous.

Anthony smirked and kept covering his eyes. "Hey little brother, treating' the lady?" He said amused and felt Alex immediately turn around and tackle hug him. "Aye kid, not in public."

Cleo was confused, then amused. "Hi, I'm Cleo." She said to the boy, holding out her hand.

Alex grinned and got off of Anthony. "I hate when you leave Anthony." He frowned.

Anthony shook the girls hand. "Nice to meet you Cleo, I'm Anthony, I'ma assume your my brothers girl?" He asked pulling a chair into their table to sit with them.

She laughed softly "I guess you could say that." She looked at Alex. "Could he come with us to the carnival?"

Alex grinned at her question and nodded. "Course he can." He laughed then looked at his brother. "You up for it?"

Anthony smirked. "'course 'long as there are some other ladies coming along on this. I ain't tryna' be a third wheel."

She laughed "Erick better stick to Evanlyn then." She said shaking her head.

Evanlyn yawned and stretched her arms above her head. Standing up she glanced at her clock and decided to head for the Carnival. Walking down the stairs she called to Leo,"I'm going to the Carnival with Cleo and Alex, do you want to come along?"

Leo yawned and leaned back in his chair,"No thanks."

Evanlyn rolled her eyes and grabbed Saphires arm, tugging her out."Then we'll go by ourselves." Taking out her phone she dialed Cleo's number.

"Hello?" She said, waiting for a voice on the phone.

"Hey, it's Evanlyn, me and Saphire are heading to the Carnival now, we'll meet you at the Ferris wheel okay?"She said.

"Alright, see you there." She said, hanging up the phone. "Evanlyn wants to meet us at the Ferris Wheel." She said, going through her texts.

Cole walked out of his bedroom yawning. He rubbed his messy blonde hair with his hand and glanced at the refrigerator. A note was magneted to it and reached out to read it. The note read:

"Cole, im going to the carnival with Ashley. Ill be home to make some dinner later"~Kiara

Oh, great, what am i suppose to eat until then?She knows i dont cook.." He glanced back down at the note his sister left him."The carnival huh...." Cole grabbed some money in his wallet and put on his shoes to go to the carnival.

Evanlyn slipped her phone in her pocket and tugged Saphire to her car, and hopped in, driving towards the Carnival.

Leaning an arm on the window, Evanlyn pulled the car up into the Carnivals parking lot. Opening up her door she jumped out and brought Saphire with her, as she made her way to the Ferris wheel that loomed up ahead.

Alex looked at her and nodded. "So we can leave this place and head over there now, or we can eat first. Up to you." He shrugged.

Anthony leaned back with a smirk. "Think I wanna head there now personally. If you guys' wanna stay here I'll meet up with you later." He got to his feet and crossed his arms.

"Agreed." She said, gathering her stuff. "We might need to hurry." She added, shuffling out.
